Tuesday 30 August 2011, by Icon Network

Exhibition until 02.10.2011

The exhibition "Estonian Icon Painting" introduces rare examples of orthodox icons from the 16th to 20th centuries that are located in Estonia.

In co-operation with the artist and icon researcher Nikolai Kormashov, the exhibition introduces local icon painting traditions, schools and masters and represents icons that have been created elsewhere for Estonian churches.
