The Ana Tzarev Gallery www.anatzarev.com is hosting a special exhibition featuring a selection of works on loan from The Museum of Russian Icons.

The Icons exhibition spans five centuries and includes important historical paintings dating from some of the earliest periods of icon "writing" to the present. Â Also on view are paintings by the artist Ana Tzarev representing historical religious events and themes. The exhibition also includes a preview of works by Milijada Barada which will be featured in an exhibition in Ana Tzarev Gallery in September, 2010.

The Museum of Russian Icons:

The Museum of Russian Icons was founded in 2006 as a non-profit educational institution by Gordon B. Lankton. The Museum is located in Clinton, MA.  The collection includes more than 400 Russian icons, the largest collection of its kind in North America, and one of the largest collections outside Russia. For more information please visit
